Open Grant Rounds
To strengthen the ecosystem, its functionality and its impact we participate in a number of grant rounds with different forms of funding like quadratic funding and or community funding. If you believe in our work please help us gather more funds by supporting us in these platforms. $5 worth of donation can become $1000 so please don't hesitate on how far a small donation can go!
Our Core Team
CEO
David Casey
David's work has touched crypto for over a decade, and his passion is working at the ecosystem level to engineer systemic change. In the blockchain industry he's worn a number of hats, including on the founder/CEO side, corporate, philanthropic/public goods funding, event production (conferences, developer residencies and hackathons), a sprinkle of VC, and ecosystem incubation. He is a 4x founder and helped scale another company to 8 digits revenue, in addition to advising three growth-stage companies.
His work has centered around fundraising, movement-building, and leveraging blockchain technology for socioeconomic transformation. In 2013 he discovered the first real world use case for blockchain technology as applied to his startup at the time - nearly instantaneous, nearly-free, fully permissionless p2p cross border payments anywhere in the world - “email for money”. The first time he deployed a blockchain-based asset or token was on Bitcoin’s Colored Coins Protocol in 2015. David has also worked in the humanitarian and non-profit sectors, led the production of conferences and festivals in over 10 countries, and has spoken publicly in 25 countries.
